Tower Views

9th story tower windows

View of the Academy of Sciences Museum which will have its grand reopening in the Fall.

View of San Francisco homes and the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

This is a follow-up to yesterday's post. The 9th floor 144-foot tower at the top of the De Young Museum is typically reserved for education programs. However, the 360 degree view all around the tower is what most visitors will remember.

Have a nice weekend,
AV

  2. I must say I fell right down for the first picture - what a reflection! Definitely my kind of thing. Green with envy.

And of course, there is always the Golden Gate Bridge!

  4. What a great view from that tower!
I like the first picture best also. The framework or whatever you call it on the window really added to the picture.

  9. Thank you All for your comments. Did I mention the visit to the tower was free? You really do get a nice view of the city without having to pay an admission price.

NYCIndividual: I guess you'll have summer break in 5 months?

Yolanda: You can really see how packed the houses are next to each other.
