This gate leads to the China Basin boat dock in San Francisco. I thought the top of the rounded gate had an interesting contrast with the boats' masts in the distance.
Yep, we could definitely (and maybe one day we can) hang out and scope shots...only we'd be pushing each other out of the way for the shots - ha ha. I think you have a very artistic eye!!!
Hpy, I think the boats are expensive and they don't want trespassers, but if someone really want to get through, they can do it.

Dana, I think we won't get far. I do go shooting with my camera club and we can spend a long time in one spot.
Jean, yeah, the masts go far far beyond what you can see. I was amazed so many boats were docked there and this was just one row.
Andrea, it was amazing they were all docked since it was a nice day otherwise I would have missed the photo op.

Really like this composition with the curves and angles. Well done. I lived in Pacifica for 41 years before moving 7 months ago. Long time to have the fog be our close personal friend. I do miss seeing the ocean every day but not too much else.
